Hotel El Viandante is located in the middle of the road between Santa Elena town and Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve.
Follow the main road heading to Monteverde Cloud Forest. About 1.5 km see for a sign that says “turn left” drive until 2 blocks and you have reached your destination.

From San Jose Costa Rica Airport: 

• Take the #1 road towards Liberia City
• 2 hours later, you will see Sardinal Entrance
• Take the Sardinal Entrance follow signs
• Continue on the unpaved road for the last 17 klms to get to Santa Elena and Monteverde

From Liberia Airport:

• Take road 1 towards San Jose City
• 2 hours later you will reach Las Juntas town
• Once there follow signs to Santa Elena
• Keep going until last 20 kms on the unpaved road
