National Parks:

Kura Design Villas is located close to the Corcovado National Park, Cano Island Biological Reserve, Manuel Antonio National Park, Terraba-Sierpe Mangroves, and the Ballena National Marine Park. You can go to this places and enjoy exploring the exotic wildlife and in some of the park you might also enjoy hiking and boating trips.

Corcovado National Park:

You can go for an all day tour to this park within just forty five minute drive and there you can enjoy hiking, boat ride and can also watch the wildlife such as sloths, tapirs, white-faced, spider and howler monkeys, snakes, coatis, raccoons, crocodiles and many more. In this area birdwatchers can spot different species of birds including scarlet macaw.

Whale Watching:

You can visit the Ballena National Marine Park that is named after ‘whale’, covers 110 hectares on land (44.55 acres) and stretches out 5,375 hectares on the sea (2176.88 acres). If you visit the hotel mid July to October and again from December through March you can go to whale watching tour as this is the time when Humpback whales migrate from both hemispheres to the warm tropical waters of Costa Rica. You can also go for a half day tour for whale watching and also enjoy snorkeling tours which are offered by the hotel if it is the right season. You can also watch bottle nose and spotted dolphins or pilot whales.
