El Remanso Lodge

El Remanso is a lush 185 acre private reserve that is hidden in the pristine rainforests and a secluded Pacific Beach on the Osa Peninsula belt. The lodge emits a warm and unassuming appeal, while still providing guests with all the comforts characteristic of a world-class holiday accommodation. The relaxed aura sporting property allows guests to explore everything from the labyrinth walking paths of the primary rainforest to movie-like castaway beaches to picture perfect lagoon. And that’s just not it. El Remanso also features vast rainforest canyons within its verdant premises along with tiny creeks and tide pools sprinkled all over the lodge’s mesmeric landscape.

Since in origin in 1999, El Remanso has been championing sustainable practices and adhering to strict ecological policies to protect its natural surroundings. For example, the lodge has been a frontrunner in offering electricity via a micro-hydro system. Such initiatives have won the lodge the highest “Certification for Sustainable Tourism (CST-level 5 ) rating in the first certification process El Remanso participated in.
