Since the lodge is positioned between the Pacific coast and a flourishing rainforest, there is never a dearth of action-packed experiences from jungle hiking to treetop zip lining (through the rainforests bordering Corcovado) to horseback riding and river kayaking.  Other hot favorite recreational pursuits in the area include bird watching, sport fishing and guided nature trails. Visitors also like to enjoy a picnic by the beach or a revitalizing massage by expert masseurs.

The accommodation at La Paloma comprises Standard Rooms, Ranchos and the exclusive views offering Sunset Ranchos. Standards rooms provide function comfort on a budget and are each equipped with single orthopedic beds, hardwood flooring, a ceiling fan, hot water bathrooms and an independent balcony offering neat oceanic vistas.

owl Ranchos are more upgraded versions of Standard Rooms in the form if 1 and 2 story private cabins (fully equipped with king, queen and regular orthopedic beds, tiled hot water bathrooms and a private balcony (features splendid vantage point views of the Pacific). The spacious, tastefully adorned and well-equipped Sunset Ranchos are perfect for families, couples and groups.  There are private baths of both the upper and lower level, in addition to single, queen size and king size beds. This one also has a private terrace offering outstanding views of the neighboring Cano Island.

Room Rates   

High season rates for a 3 nights 4 days package is $ 1230 USD FOR Standard Rooms, $ 1445 USD for Deluxe Ranchos and $ 1570 USD FOR Sunset Ranchos. Likewise, the 4 nights 5 days package can be booked at $ 1400 USD for a Standard Room and $ 1660 USD for a Deluxe Rancho. All packages are inclusive of a round way air and boat transportation to and from San Jose, a daylong guided tour of Corcovado National Park, a guided tour of Cano Island, park entry and taxes.
