Lodge Las Ranas

The Lodge Las Ranas is situated in Playa Samara, in the middle of the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. Guanacaste is the driest and hottest of all seven regions of the country. If you visit this place even in rainy season you will enjoy the daily temperature of 83 degrees F. Playa Samara boasts blue skies and the environment remain comfortable. As this hotel is nestled at or above canopy level of trees, it allows the guests to enjoy watching different species of wild animal from their rooms. Way to the Lodge:

For reaching the lodge, you will have to take a flight that lands at the New terminal at Daniel Oduber International Airport close to the city of Liberia. After reaching the airport, you can rent a car or arrange a taxi to reach the hotel. If you want to enjoy more adventurous travel, then you can use the local bus. Travelling by a rented car is absolutely safe in Costa Rica and you will enjoy more freedom to go to many tourist sites in the region as well as explore the beautiful beaches in this area.

Accommodation:

The Lodge Las Ranas offers 10 rooms among which 4 rooms with additional single bed for kids and one with kitchenette. There are 2 adjoining rooms ideal for larger groups. From each of the room you will get opportunity to enjoy amazing view of mountain and sea. All the rooms are simple but elegantly decorated and fully equipped. This hotel also provide wheel chair accessible accommodations.

La Ranas Restaurant:

You can enjoy hot breakfast and a range of local cuisine for dinner in this open air Rancho style restaurant. There is a terrace offering views of the sea and nearby forest. This is also the perfect place to take in a sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Swimming Pool:

This lodge also has well-maintained large swimming pool and it surroundings are furnished with beach chairs and umbrellas where you can enjoy some leisure time and get relaxed. While sipping your favorite cocktail in the pool deck, you might also enjoy watching some amazing variety of wild animals such as monkeys, iguanas, pisote, parrots, martilla and many more. If you are lucky enough, you might also see some of the blue butterfly.
