There are many places that are easy to get to, but hard to leave. The Rafiki Beach hotel is one of those places. Located in Costa Rica, it is in the Pacific Coast on Playa Matapalo and 20 minutes south of Quepos airport. It is set right on Matapalo beach that is easily accessible by car or airplane. From the mother lodge Rafiki Safari Lodge, this camp is about 45 minutes away. By shuttle, car or airplane via Quepos you can reach the amp area. But it is recommended to travel by sea kayaks.

Spending your vacation at Rafiki beach hotel is like staying in a tent that is placed on raised tiled floors. Each tent has various equipment’s attached to it. For example a fan, modern bathroom, a comfortable porch and a refrigerator. In addition, the tent has three layers to keep away insects and heat. At the same time, it allows the smell from the beach inside the tent.

Nearby attractions:

There are various attractions surrounding Rafiki beach hotel from all directions. Towards the north of the beach is the Manuel Antonio area. In its vicinity is a National Park which is the most visited attraction in Costa Rica. In this park, you are able to engage yourself in various activities such as hiking, canoeing and fishing. Towards the south of the hotel is Uvita and Dominical which are best for diving trips.

Rafiki Beach hotel is a perfect place for adventure mainly because of the way it is strategically located.  Therefore, some of the things to do at the hotel are:

Horseback riding:

Various horseback riding trips can be arranged around the mountains.

White water rafting:

This type of activity is mostly done at the Rafiki Safari Lodge and at the Savegre river.

Sea Kayaking:

It is a trip that takes nearly three hours from the coastal highway ending at the Rafiki beach camp.
