Surf Hotel – Accommodations

Surf Camp Mediterraneo is just three minutes from Playa Avellanas. The hotel is fronted by the ocean and sun drenched beach and encircled by the sublime dry forests of Guanacaste province. For accommodations, there are six spacious standard apartments and four suite apartments.

Standard Apartments

The standard apartments are 6 in number and can sleep up to 4 people at a time. The apartments are simply but elegantly designed appointed with plush single beds or a double bed and a comfortable sofa. They have air conditioning, private bathroom with hot water supply, a lounge, television set with a DVD player, and a kitchen area with modern amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, blender, rice cooker, and gas cooker with oven, dining set, cooking utensils and dishes.

Suite Apartments

Suite apartment have the same amenities as the standard apartment but they are larger and can accommodate six people. Each suite has two bedrooms on the upper level. One bedroom has two single beds while the other one has a queen bed.

The hotel’s amenities include 24/7 security service, high speed wireless internet, private parking spot, a vast swimming pool, laundry service, shuttle service and additional activities such as recreational sport fishing, horseback riding on the beach, bird watching tours, scuba diving, snorkeling and so many others. The camp also owns an Italian Restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its specialties include pizza, pasta and lasagna.

Surf Classes with Surf Camp Mediterraneo

The surf camp holds classes on the beach either in groups or privately. In group sessions, the students are divided according to their experience, skills and knowledge. Be it a novice who has just begun to surf, an intermediate who wish to reach the next level or an advanced surfer hoping to be the very best, at Surf Camp Mediterraneo, you can learn a lot. As mentioned previously, the classes are conducted either in groups, semi privately or privately. Semi private classes are idyllic for couple as they include 2 students per instructor. The camp offers access to high quality surf boards and official surfing certificate as well.
