Nosara Tico Surf School is one of the major surf camps in Nosara, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. The team members of the surf school consist of professional surf instructors who have years experience in the field. They have gained great experience and knowledge by teaching in various surf camps and schools in Costa Rica. After many years of working, the owners, Luigui, Esteban and Adrian, made a decision to open their own surf school. Their dream came true and they became an instant hit among locals and foreigners alike. Besides surf lessons, Nosara Tico Surf School offers their customers a chance to explore Costa Rica, learn about Tico culture and make new friends by becoming a part of surfing community.

The Owners of Nosara Tico Surf School

The surf school is run and owned by a group of three surfers called Luigui, Esteban and Adrian. Luigui is a professional surfer who has competed in and won several national contests. He has ISA training as well. Luigui is known for his surfing skills, professional attitude and as an encouraging teacher. Esteban is a Tico surfer who has mainly worked in Playa Guiones. With his enthusiasm and professionalism, he helps many students to learn to ride the waves. He is ISA trained and has surfed in numerous places. Adrian is also a Tico surfer who knows all about the best breaks and secret spots of the country. He is fluent in English as well as in Spanish. The three of them work together and make an awesome team!

Private and Group Lessons

Nosara Tico Surf School provides both private and group surf sessions to their customers. The camp tries to keep the student to teacher ratio low to ensure proper learning. Group lessons are great for families, friends and budget minded travelers while private sessions work great for couples and advanced surfers who wish to work on a specific move. Depending upon the students’ skills, the classes are divided into three categories; beginners, intermediates and advanced.

Seven Day Surf Package

A seven day surf package includes daily surf session, unlimited access to surf equipment and surfboards, sophisticated lodging options (The Harmony Hotel or Harbor Reef), relaxing full body massages, four yoga classes, transport service and daily complimentary breakfast.

Tico Monkey Surf Package

Tico Monkey Surf Package involves several fun activities. Ride the waves in the morning, experience Tico culture, indulge in massages, learn Spanish, have adventurous trips to the cascading waterfalls and explore the dense rain forests.
