Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a particular type of Yoga technique that is usually practiced in a sequence. This sequence typically includes only five or six postures. It is a therapeutic style of yoga that leads the practitioners toward a more healing and recuperative experience. Its workouts are supported by props that help the practitioners to hold certain postures comfortably and to enjoy getting completely relaxed.

Restorative Yoga postures includes twists, seated forward folds and gentle back-bends. For practicing these postures, practitioners need to hold each postures for  5 to 10 minutes or as long as they can. At the time of practicing Restorative Yoga workouts, using of the props will give the yogis a supportive environment that will allow them to relax completely. Most of the Restorative workouts are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.
